Augustus Hotel & Resort

Augustus Hotel & Resort is a five-star retreat set in a large park of maritime pines, hydrangeas and jasmine in the most elegant part of Forte dei Marmi, on the Versilia coast, with the Apuan Alps as a backdrop. The resort brings together several buildings, each with its own character: Villa Pesenti, a modernist residence in red travertine housing the lobby, lounge bar, breakfast room and the "La Sirena e la Fontana" restaurant; La Nave, a contemporary, nautical-style complex whose rooms have balconies facing the Apuan mountains; the Augustus Lido, formerly Villa Agnelli, which still keeps the original furnishings of the Turin family; and a few private villas in the greenery.

A private underpass leads straight to the Augustus Beach Club, an exclusive beach with cabanas, sunbeds, a heated pool with whirlpool, a bar and the Bambaissa restaurant. A second pool lies in a quiet, shaded corner of the park. Wellbeing is covered by the Augustus Day Spa, with sauna, Turkish bath, sensory showers, tepidarium and face and body treatments, plus a fully equipped gym for guests.

Services include a 24-hour front desk, concierge, a free shuttle to the town centre, free on-site parking with EV charging, room service and laundry. Families can enjoy summer kids' activities at the Beach Club and dedicated children's menus. Dogs are welcome with a welcome kit and a special menu of their own.
